Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP available now!

The latest LP from Eleh is available now and ready to order.  This will not be available in stores until 22 July 2008 but you can get it now through TAIGA mailorder.  The first 100 copies come with a special screenprint and are only available to those who order direct.  Also, consider ordering our first three releases together and save on shipping.  Note: all TAIGA releases are pressed on 200 gram virgin vinyl.

Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP jackets

The custom letterpressed jackets are finished for the Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP.  They were printed by Studio on Fire right here in Minneapolis (www.studioonfire.com).  The jackets were printed flat on a 100% post consumer waste stock and then die-cut, folded and glued resulting in a letterpressed jacket with a printed spine!  Now we are just waiting for the vinyl to arrive.  These will be available on or before 1 July 2008.  There will be a post when this release is completed and at that point we will start taking orders.

Eleh limited art print & Rafael Toral LP delayed

In celebration of the upcoming Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP we have made an edition of 100 limited screen-prints.  These prints will be available with the first 100 copies of the edition of 500 Eleh LPs.  The prints will be exclusively available through TAIGA mailorder (except for a few that will be available through Important Records) on a first come, first served basis.  The prints were designed, signed and numbered by John Brien of Important and screen-printed by Neil Burke at Monoroid.  They are 12x12 inches and are on a nice thick cardstock.  The Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP will be available 1 July 2008.

In other TAIGA news, the Rafael Toral "Space Elements Vol I" that was scheduled for a July 2008 release has been postponed until September 2008 when it will be released simultaneously with the CD version on Staubgold.  In the meantime, I have posted Rafael Toral mp3s on myspace.  Check them out at www.myspace.com/taigarecords

Two new 20-minute pieces from Eleh pressed on 200g vinyl and packaged in a custom designed letterpressed, die-cut, folded and glued jacket in a hand-numbered edition of 500.  The first 100 copies come with a signed and numbered 3-color screenprint by John Brien of Important Records. 

 

TAIGA 3 - Rafael Toral Space Elements Vol. I LP out 1 July 2008

The third release of Rafael Toral's Space Program presented on 200g LP.  A limited edition of 500 with 400 clear and 100 transparent blue.  CD version to be released by Staubgold.

TAIGA 2 - Rafael Toral Space Solo 1 LP

The LP version of the CD released by Quecksilber in 2007 will be finished at the end of March or beginning of April 2008.  It will be presented in a limited edition of 500, mastered direct to metal and pressed on 200g virgin vinyl with 100 clear and 400 transparent red.  The jacket features the Rui Toscano drawing from the CD version expanded for the 12-inch format and will be printed in black and pantone red on reversed stock with the pocket flooded red.
