TAIGA 3 - Rafael Toral Space Elements Vol. I LP is available to order on both transparent blue (ltd 100) and clear (ltd 400).  All copies were pressed on 200g virgin vinyl and come in a beautiful jacket printed on a white/brown stock.

Multifaceted update

TAIGA 3 - Rafael Toral Space Elements Vol. I LP is now finished and en route to our base.  It will be available for sale the week of September 15, 2008.  Photos and ordering details will be posted here at that time.  All copies come on 200g vinyl with 100 on transparent blue and 400 on clear.  An audio sample is now available at: www.myspace.com/taigarecords

TAIGA 5 - Deep Listening Band Then & Now Now & Then: Celebrating 20 Years 2xLP is now in the production phase.  This double LP release will be pressed on heavyweight vinyl and packaged in a double-wide spine jacket and a custom slipcover designed specifically for this release.  This will be finished in late October.  More details to follow soon. 

In other news, TAIGA 4 - Eleh Homage to the Square Wave LP is now sold out.  The remaining copies were recently shipped to Forced Exposure who is now our exclusive distributor in North America.  All of our titles will soon be available from them.

Finally, we have upcoming releases from Eleh, the next release in the Homage series and a new EP from Giuseppe Ielasi, the follow-up to his recent Stunt vinyl release.

Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP jackets

The custom letterpressed jackets are finished for the Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP.  They were printed by Studio on Fire right here in Minneapolis (www.studioonfire.com).  The jackets were printed flat on a 100% post consumer waste stock and then die-cut, folded and glued resulting in a letterpressed jacket with a printed spine!  Now we are just waiting for the vinyl to arrive.  These will be available on or before 1 July 2008.  There will be a post when this release is completed and at that point we will start taking orders.

Eleh limited art print & Rafael Toral LP delayed

In celebration of the upcoming Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP we have made an edition of 100 limited screen-prints.  These prints will be available with the first 100 copies of the edition of 500 Eleh LPs.  The prints will be exclusively available through TAIGA mailorder (except for a few that will be available through Important Records) on a first come, first served basis.  The prints were designed, signed and numbered by John Brien of Important and screen-printed by Neil Burke at Monoroid.  They are 12x12 inches and are on a nice thick cardstock.  The Eleh "Homage to the Square Wave" LP will be available 1 July 2008.

In other TAIGA news, the Rafael Toral "Space Elements Vol I" that was scheduled for a July 2008 release has been postponed until September 2008 when it will be released simultaneously with the CD version on Staubgold.  In the meantime, I have posted Rafael Toral mp3s on myspace.  Check them out at www.myspace.com/taigarecords
